The City of Binghamton is the county seat for Broome County (Greater Binghamton) and has a population of just over 200,000 according to the 2010 census.  The hub of the city sits at the confluence of two rivers, the Susquehanna and Chenango and offers quick access to Interstate 81 and Route 17/Interstate 86 which are  major highways that travel through the Greater Binghamton area.

In the 1990’s, Bob coached a Town of Union youth T-ball team for several years and then assisted with Endwell Little League and softball, as well as Endicott girls softball. He was also very involved with the Union Aquatic swim club. Today, Bob continues to volunteer with several local organizations and his church to assist and promote community events.
